Can does not live by bread alone
This opener goes boldly where no Can has gone before. When my old Opener found itself canned I quickly purchased this beauty. It was one small step for a Can, one giant leap for Cankind. I use it a few times a day for my Dog's wet food, and I have to say it is Can's best friend. It really is true that behind every Can is a great Can opener. Truly a Can after my own heart. It is also durable, a true Can of Steel. Perhaps more like Iron Can. I would highly recommend this work of art by Oxo with help from Vincent Can Gogh because a good Can is hard to find.

Durable and easy to use
Great can opener. Works easily on regular cans. I have one that I have been using most days for 7 years and it still works great. I stick it in the dishwasher after each use and have not had any problems with rust or wearing out. I got this one for my adult son after he told me that his first can opener barely worked and his replacement can opener broke after one week.

Best opener I have ever owned.
This can opener is finally the one I have been looking for. Electric openers are cumbersome and most other wall mounted or handheld openers are hard to use and need a certain amount of muscle. They also seem to get rusty, even with regular cleaning and drying, and this is a health issue. I have owned this opener for a few months and there is no rust yet, but impossible to tell if that will last. But the price is reasonable so if necessary, I will buy again if rust develops. Overall, it is easy to use for someone with limited hand strength and the lock button makes it even easier. Well engineered product.

Honestly the only can opener you need!!!
I have owned one of these for about 10-12 years and it is still working fine- have arthritis in my left wrist and this allows me to open cans with a minimum of pain (do not want an electric opener crowding the counter). Went to a rental for two months without a working can opener so gave her my old one and bought myself a shiny new one- still works great!!!!

It will get your can out of a bind.
I had purchased one many years ago, and it gave me great service. But it wouldn't open some larger cans (WEAR). The new one has no problem with any cans. The handle is smaller and it doesn't feel as substantial, but it's an OXO.

Stop squeezing the heck out of that can opener.
IMPORTANT! - This opener does not go pop until you start turning the wheel. Stop squeezing so hard, relax and turn. It works like magic. Forget the magnet lid removers of any design - they just get in the way. Great price, great product.

A Cut Above.
I am generally a fan of Oxo products - this one is no exception. Although I prefer the convenience of electric can openers, I know some people don't like them, as they want their counter uncluttered, don't want to have to take them out and put them away, etc. As far as manual can openers, this one is about the best around. It is easy to use, doesn't require much effort, or fiddling to make sure it is lined up, and works consistently. There is another model for a couple of dollars more than has a magnet to hold the cut lid. I've used both and actually prefer this one, only because it stores a little easier, and I don't find having to pick up the lid off the can to be a big deal. Compared to no name, and brand name models I have used, this one works the best.

Easy turning.
Had a grocery store bought opener that was so hard to work. It was hard to clip on, super hard to turn, and would have to open and close over and over to get the starting hole. Once I would finally get it going I would have to re-turn where the blade didn't cut the first time. My Mom had this opener for years, so I decided to spend the extra money for the same one. SO GLAD I DID! Works great and very easy to turn, cuts everytime without have to go over a second time. Worth the price and is holding up nicely.

Easy to use
This can opener is easy to use. My husband has arthritic hands and I don't have much strength in mine. Both of us find it easy to use and we love it. The locking feature is nice because you just put it on the can and lock it in place. No squeezing to keep it from popping off. Just turn the knob to open the can.

If you want an easy way to open cans, this is it!
Best can opener ever! Possibly my wife's favorite kitchen tool at this point.
